Why use illusions as a way to present the Gospel?
In all of our years of doing illusions, we have never met someone who did not want to see something unbelievable. There is a natural connection between performing something that is beyond belief and the unbelievable, undeniable, and unconditional love of God. We use illusions simply as a tool to captivate people so that we can tell them about Jesus. Many people will come to see a woman get cut in half that would never set foot in a church building otherwise. The use of illusions provides visual illustrations for Biblical principles such as sin, separation, obstacles, and transformation.

Are your presentations appropriate for children?
We make for certain that people of all ages understand the difference between illusion and reality. With young children, we especially emphasize and explain that we hold no special powers. (We even teach an illusion to the audience!) Jonathan has spent the last two years researching faith development in children. In fact, this is the subject of his Doctoral dissertation. The illustrations and illusions used in any of our presentations are God-centered and age-appropriate.

How did you get started doing illusions?
“I began doing illusions when I was thirteen simply as a hobby. While attending college, I spent one summer working as a camp counselor in Arkansas. I was in charge of fifteen fourth grade boys!!! I had trouble getting them to pay attention during our Bible studies, so I began using illusions to “bribe” them to listen to me. I found a natural connection between illusions and the Biblical principles I was trying to teach. Later that year, (1994) I surrendered to full-time ministry and began working as a student minister where I used illusions during Bible studies. After moving to Ft. Worth to attend Seminary (1997), I began to work with Master Illusionist Bruce Chadwick. It was during my time with him that I began presenting grand illusions in churches as a way to present the Gospel.”

What do you believe?
In short, we believe that the Bible is God's word to man. These words are inerrant and infallible. God loves people so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to die for mankind. His death on the cross provides the "only" way in which one can have a relationship with God. We completely support the work of the local church in carrying out the Great Commission and encourage all to be a part of this local body.

How do I know which presentation is best for my ministry?
The best way to distinguish among the different presentations is the size of your audience. As your audience size increases so should the scale of the illusions.

What about expenses?
The majority of the financial needs are directly applied to the overhead expenses that come with this type of ministry. On average, we travel about 40 thousand miles a year, not counting flying. This puts a tremendous strain on our vehicles, trailer and equipment. Many do not know that the grand illusions we use cost between $3500-$5000 individually! A portion of the money goes to repair equipment and purchase new illusions. All publicity including the website, mail-outs and media products come directly from the churches we serve. A final portion of the money goes to support Jonathan, his family and his ministry team.

Do you do school assemblies?
Absolutely! Some of the most effective outreach events have included advertising at local school assemblies . It is recommended that several churches combine their resources for these types of events.

How long does it take you to set up?
With our full team, it takes about two hours to get everything set in place before the doors open. Upon confirmation, you will be contacted by one of the team members regarding all of the technical aspects of the presentation (lights, sound, stage area, dressing, etc.)
